This month's topic:
Falling into My Silhouette

Special December 31, 2005 Issue
.
********************************************

I’ve done a lot of uncovering and releasing in 2005. I have cleared a ton of clutter internally and externally. I am the most myself I have ever been. I like that about me!

Honestly, I find the unwrapping of self to be fascinating. It is like an unending nest of gifts. You unwrap the first box and realize the paper (the belief) wasn’t your own or the box (the form) no longer expresses you.

I have a friend who recently said to me, “Terri, you have to allow yourself to fall into the silhouette you are revealing about yourself.” (Thank you Rainbow Heart!) She’s right. I had still been skirting around the edges of my silhouette much like an artist when they begin a painting, sculpture, meal, or whatever form they express with artistically. The image was in my head but I was still perusing it from arms length.

As you have heard over and over again, my home is my laboratory. I am always using it to support, re-create, and empower myself. It is the reflection of me consciously and unconsciously. Through my Feng Shui practice and experience, I have found it to be a beautiful tool as I live my life more and more consciously every day. At this moment, my closet is the top tool. I am filling out my silhouette as I make new clothing choices. The new choices are the physical representations of the inner, non-physical changes I am making. I am choosing to embrace my magnificence. Consequently, I am wearing and purchasing only items that I feel magnificent in. I have blessed and expressed gratitude to a multitude of items as I have waved good-bye! In doing so, I am creating lots of room for more magnificence to enter my life.

Of course, it also offers me a beautiful opportunity to trust. You see, I don’t have the whole silhouette yet. However, Soul Coaching, Feng Shui, Healing Touch, Conscious Languaging, Self-Appreciation, Playing, Writing, and everything I do has taught me to stand where I am and what I need next will appear as I need it. I just begin wherever I am standing. Embrace, celebrate, and be in gratitude for what I do know and the rest will fill in as easily and delightfully as I am willing to allow.

If you think about it, can we begin anywhere else but where we are standing? The really cool thing is with each step we then take, we are standing in a new place. We decide if we did or didn’t like the step and then choose the next. Consciously or unconsciously, it is happening. I don’t have to have all the answers. Either way, I can only take the step that is right in front of me.

We stand today at the end of a year with one foot lifted to step into the new year. Where are you standing and where are you stepping? I am stepping into my silhouette with love, joy, kindness, and trust. My step is a dance step as I live what I know about my truth in this moment.

As a way to wrap up my year, I would like to share with you a blessing I use that is loosely based on the Meta Kindness Blessing.

I am at peace

My heart is open

I am awake to the light of my own true nature

I am healed and I am a source of healing for all beings.

May you be at peace

May your heart remain open

May you awaken to the light of your own true nature

May you be healed and be a source of healing for all beings.

May there be peace in the Universe

May the hearts of all beings open unto themselves and all others

May all beings awaken to the light of their own true natures

May all creation be blessed and bless all that is.

I see each of you lighted from within by your own beautiful spirit. I see you each standing poised to step into the new year with an open heart and abiding peace. Bless you and all whom you love!

With deepest respect and gratitude,
Terri
